BNE Lawyers is a Brisbane law firm serving individuals, families and small businesses across South East Queensland — in English and Vietnamese.
We opened our doors in Inala to be where our clients are. Many of the people we act for have been let down before by advice they could not understand, fees they could not predict, or a lawyer they could never reach. We built this practice around fixing those three things.
What we do
Our work spans six areas of law: immigration, family law and estates, property and conveyancing, commercial and tax, civil disputes, and criminal defence. Keeping those areas under one roof means a matter that touches more than one — a separation that involves a business and a visa, for example — stays with a team that already knows your file.

Our principal
Andrew Nguyen — Principal Solicitor
Andrew Nguyen founded BNE Lawyers to give Brisbane's Vietnamese-speaking community access to legal advice in their own language, without giving up the standard of service they would expect from any city firm. He practises across immigration, family law and estates, property, and commercial matters, and appears regularly in the Queensland courts and before the Administrative Review Tribunal.
Before opening the Inala office he worked in general practice in Brisbane, acting for individuals and small businesses in matters that often crossed several areas of law at once. That experience shaped how the firm works today: one senior lawyer stays across the whole file, advice is written in plain language, and fees are agreed in writing before work begins.
He speaks English and Vietnamese, and is available for after-hours appointments where a matter cannot wait.
